For Sale: "BLUE DUCK" - all
terrain, all weather cruise missile. Field hunter supreme, whip
horse extraordinaire, successful eventer and show jumper. 16.2
MUSCULAR TB gelding, grey, age 10. Has the 'oomph" to boost my
200lbs over the big stuff at high speeds. Very fast (race
winner), fabulous jumper (online pics to prove it) sure footed
,and
easy to control. Goes in a plain snaffle and no martingale.
Handles like a stock horse, will stop on a dime whenever asked,
does rollbacks at speed and neck reins like a champ-very handy
for keeping your flask out to "drink and drive" and for you
whips to run and shoot...or, just lay the reins on his neck,
have your flask in one hand, your pistol in the other and sample
the pure joy of alcohol,guns, and a fast horse all at the same
time. If there was only a way to add good BBQ and The Swedish
Bikini Team to this potent mix of pleasure it would truly be
"country boy nirvana".
Will also sidepass to open and close gates while mounted, which
now that I think about it is a big waste of time unless you're
doing it as a favor for others....just jump it and go on! Very
friendly, carrot fiend, and likes good
ale--prefers Guinness Extra Stout. Easy to load, haul, clip,
bathe, shoe, etc. Duckie is a HOOT ! If you're looking for
jump and GO instead of draft horse SLOW, this is your ride. $20K
